The idea of an actual definition of mlearning, has peaked my interest. From discussions via: http://jenniferparker.posterous.com/defining-mobile-learning
I submit the following as an evolved definition of mlearning:

The ABILITY to DEVELOP knowledge or skills through ENGAGING WITH LEARNING MATERIALS in ANY environment or LOCATION

  • Noeline

Nice as a starting point but if there has to be a definition here’s more th consdier:
    1. any TIME
    2. Can any material be a learning material? Doe sit need labelling as such?
    3. doesn’t the ‘m’ part need mentioning?
    4. apropos of (3), rather than ANY wouldn’t it be REGARDLESS OF (enviornment, location, time….?
