eGPlearning TipThursday – HIV-druginteractions.org

Hi #eGPlearners

Welcome to the weekly showcase of Technology-enhanced primary & learning resources from eGPlearning.

This week we look at a useful site around prescribing for patients with HIV.

HIV-druginteractions.org is powered by the University of Liverpool and provides valuable prescribing resources on HIV medications and thier use. This includes instructional videos and prescribing resources like PDFs on various medications.

The true power of this website is the medication checker which evaluates medications you may use with anti-retrovirals and their safety.

See the video for an example.

This is a really useful website and can save you time in primary care and improve safety when prescribing for patients with HIV.
